Dealers of EV-Box Charging Stations

Are you interested in becoming a dealer for EV-Box? We distinguish between a ‘Dealer’ and a ‘Service-Dealer’.

Dealer

A ‘Dealer’ is mainly involved in the sales of various Charging Stations and Charging Poles. It could involve different types of businesses. Most would regard the selling of Charging Stations as an accessory line of service delivery. For example, a car dealership selling electric vehicles, or a bike store selling electric bicycles or scooters. However, the number of businesses that concentrate on mobility and offering ‘green alternatives’ and environmentally friendly solutions, is growing rapidly.

Service Dealer

A ‘Service Dealer’ is, nevertheless, also a licensed installer and must employ technicians who hold the necessary formal qualifications to install and connect all EV-Box products. In addition to just providing customers with advice for selecting the right products, licensed installers are also able to supply their customers with a fully finished product. In addition, ‘service dealers’ will be able to offer maintenance arrangements and servicing contracts. We cooperate with our ‘service dealers’, by referring our clients to them and request that they check and/or modify the final installation, in order to enable the problem-free charging of electric vehicles at a customer’s location. Service Dealers are given exclusive rights within specific geographical areas/postcodes and pertaining to both private and business customers.

Service Vouchers

EV-Box is able to supply ‘service vouchers’, which entitle interested parties to a visit by a ‘Service Dealer’ at the location where a Charging Point is to be installed. During the visit, the following matters will be attended to:

  • Checking of the main’s connection
  • Determining the underutilised capacity of the local connection
  • Prescription of the capacity of fuse box arrangements/loads to be installed
  • Checking of wiring into the proposed Charging Point
  • Provide advice with regard to any required modular modifications
  • Provide an estimate of costs for the installation of the required modular modifications.

The ‘Service Dealer’ will be appointed and be paid by us to perform the abovementioned checks and safety inspection on location.
